- Licentiate in Law and Public Notary, held the position of Assistant Manager of the National Commission (today, General Securities’ Superintendence), and of Director of the Legal Department of the National Stock Exchange.
- He is presently External Consultant of the Asociación Costarricense de Agentes de Bolsa (Costa Rican Association of Stock Exchange Agents) (ACAB), BAC San José, Puesto de Bolsa, S. A., BN-Valores Puesto de Bolsa, S. A., Mutual Valores Puesto de Bolsa, S. A., among many others.

International Consultant Project BID-Bolsa Agroindustrial S.A. of Panama, International Consultant Project BID-Superintendence of Banks of Nicaragua, Capitals’ Market Area, Consultant and facilitator in training proceedings on Money Laundering developed by the Academia Bancaria Centroamericana (Central American Bank Academy), and honorary Legal Advisor of the Institutional Money Laundering Committee of the Financial System.
- He has published several essays and articles such as: Securities’ Exchanges and their conduct before the evolution of the securities’ market, Stock Market Tendencies, publication of the Cámara de Concesiones de Puestos de Bolsa (Chamber of Concessionaries of Securities’ Exchanges) (CAMBOLSA); The Financial Sector and the Commercial Opening: The National Housing Financial System before the new challenge in Magazine of the Federación de Mutuales de Ahorro y Préstamo de Costa Rica (Costa Rica’s Federation of Savings and Loans Societies); the Law of Promotion of Free Trade and Effective Protection of the Consumer and the Securities’ Market” Stock Exchanges’ Tendencies; and the legislation of money laundering, the financial and the public system.
